The bolts that secure the Equal-i-zer hitch head to the adjustable shank are Grade 8 hardware under significant mechanical load every time you tow. Over years of use, towing vibration, rust, or a hitch rebuild after damage can leave you needing replacement bolts, washers, and the spacer rivet that controls hitch head tilt angle. The 90-02-9100 is Equal-i-zer's replacement hardware kit that covers everything needed for a complete head-to-shank hardware replacement in one purchase.
The kit is designed for Equal-i-zer weight distribution heads rated from 6,000 lb to 14,000 lb GTW — covering the 600, 1,000, 1,200, and 1,400 lb tongue weight models. It's also commonly ordered when rebuilding or reassembling a hitch, when setting up a hitch head on a new shank, or when hardware has been lost or visibly worn. The 1/2" diameter spacer rivet and its 8 accompanying washers are particularly valuable — they control how the hitch head tilts relative to the shank, and are not easily sourced individually at a hardware store.

The 90-02-9100 bolt pack is designed specifically for Equal-i-zer hitch heads rated for 6,000 lb to 14,000 lb GTW (600 lb, 1,000 lb, 1,200 lb, and 1,400 lb tongue weight models). The hardware dimensions — including 3/4" diameter x 5" long bolts with 1-1/8" head size — are specific to these models. For the 4,000 lb GTW model (400 lb TW): See the Equal-i-zer 90-02-9400 instead — it uses smaller hardware (5/8" diameter x 4-1/2" long bolts with 15/16" head size) that is specific to the smaller 4,000 lb hitch head. Note on tilt washer: The 90-02-9100 includes 1/2" washers for the spacer rivet that adjusts hitch head tilt.
