The Flow-Rite Pro-Fill system is purpose-built for deep-cycle golf cart batteries. Unlike generic battery fillers, the Pro-Fill is engineered specifically for the cell spacing, vent cap thread pitch, and float valve geometry of Trojan 8V batteries -- so you get a true drop-in replacement for the existing vent caps, not an adapter-heavy workaround.
Each kit ships pre-plumbed with color-coded interconnecting tubing and automatic shutoff valves. Connect the RV-2020 hand pump to the single fill port, squeeze, and the system fills every cell to the correct level simultaneously. Each 8V Trojan battery has six cells; this system covers all cells across all six batteries in the pack.
If your cart runs a different voltage (36V, 72V) or uses 6V or 12V batteries, verify cell count and spacing before ordering -- Flow-Rite offers additional Pro-Fill configurations for those setups.
The tubing bridge pieces in this kit are sized for 2.3" cell spacing. Batteries with different spacing (such as the 2.1" spacing found on some older or non-Trojan 8V batteries) require a different kit variant. Measure center-to-center distance between adjacent cell vent openings before installing.
