Stop guessing at water levels and stop pulling caps one at a time. The Flow-Rite Pro-Fill BG-U12V-7J connects your (2) 6V batteries into a single-point watering system: one hose connection fills every cell to the correct level and stops automatically. Less time, less mess, less acid exposure.
Deep-cycle 6V batteries -- common in RV house banks and golf carts -- require regular watering to stay healthy. Traditional cap-by-cap watering is slow, awkward, and prone to overfilling, which dilutes electrolyte and accelerates plate corrosion. The Flow-Rite Pro-Fill system replaces every existing vent cap with a precision automatic shut-off valve. Each valve seats directly on the battery cell opening and closes the moment electrolyte reaches the correct level, preventing overfill regardless of how much water you push through the line.
The BG-U12V-7J uses 127 flex manifolds -- short, flexible tubing segments that bridge the cells on each battery and connect the two batteries together. The result is a closed, interconnected circuit: attach your fill hose or squeeze-bulb pump to the single inlet port, fill until flow stops, and you are done. Total fill time for a properly maintained bank is typically under 60 seconds.
Float-activated valves stop flow the instant each cell reaches the correct level -- no overfilling, no spills.
Short flexible connectors route between cells and across batteries, accommodating minor height and spacing variations.
One inlet port serves all cells in both 6V batteries simultaneously -- no removing individual caps during service.
Valves are designed to fit standard Group GC2 and similar 6V deep-cycle battery cell openings common across major brands.
The BG-U12V-7J kit is a complete, ready-to-install watering system for a (2) 6V battery configuration. Included components:
Note: A fill pump or hose with a standard quick-connect fitting is recommended but is not included. Flow-Rite hand pumps and hose assemblies are sold separately.
The BG-U12V-7J is a universal kit designed for standard 6V deep-cycle batteries with conventional screw-type or snap-on vent cap openings. Before ordering, verify:
