The Furrion FHO23SACR-BL is a slim, under-cabinet 12V range hood for RV kitchens, designed to vent smoke, steam, and cooking odors to the outside through ducting — giving an RV kitchen the same fresh-air ventilation as a residential range hood, in a compact footprint that leaves room for larger pots and pans on the cooktop below. A built-in LED downlight illuminates the cooktop surface, and one-button operation keeps things simple.
The included charcoal filter is removable and washable for easy maintenance, helping trap grease and odors. The unit runs on 12V DC at 12W total power (including a 1W LED), with a single-speed fan rated up to 100 CFM. It's built with Furrion's ClimateSmart and VibrationSmart technologies for reliable operation through temperature swings and road vibration, and meets NFPA 1192 design requirements for flush mounting with a 16-11/16" cabinet depth (the unit overall fits cabinet depths of 12" to 18"). If replacing an existing ducted unit, this ducted version is the direct match.
Per etrailer, the rear exhaust opening on this range hood is only 5-7/8" x 3-1/4" — smaller than the common 10-1/2" x 3-3/4" exterior wall vent opening. As with many residential installations, wall insulation typically limits airflow to a smaller path regardless of the exterior vent size. If you want tighter control over the duct path, HVAC tape can help seal the transition. A Ventline locking-damper exterior wall vent is a commonly paired exterior vent for this range hood.
