The Husky 33222 is a vehicle-specific fifth-wheel base-rail bracket kit designed for compatible Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra 2500/3500 trucks equipped with an 8' bed. The driver- and passenger-side brackets install against the truck frame to provide secure attachment points for Husky's in-bed fifth-wheel base rails.
The custom bracket design reduces the amount of frame modification required compared with universal installation kits. Husky supplies the frame brackets, spacers, U-bolts, fasteners, and related mounting hardware needed for installation with compatible 30686 base rails.

The custom brackets utilize the vehicle frame without requiring universal-style frame drilling; however, Husky's installation instructions require drilling 5/8" mounting holes through the truck bed for the base-rail fasteners. Always check beneath the bed for fuel lines, brake lines, wiring, and other obstructions before drilling.
