A reliable, code-approved connection between your RV propane tank valve and the regulator or appliance line. This 15-inch pigtail features a POL (left-hand thread) inlet on the tank end and a 1/4" male inverted flare outlet on the appliance end -- the two most common connection standards in OEM RV propane systems. UL and CSA listed for safe use with LP gas.
JR Products Part 07-30615 is a direct-fit replacement for the short propane pigtail hoses found in the majority of factory-built RV propane systems. Whether you are replacing a cracked or aged hose on an existing rig, adding a second tank connection, or building out a new LP circuit, this hose delivers the correct fittings in a compact 15-inch length.
The POL fitting (also called a "left-hand POL" or "Type 1" legacy connector) threads directly into the service valve on standard DOT propane cylinders -- the same valve style used on most RV horizontal and vertical tanks. The opposite end terminates in a 1/4" male inverted flare, compatible with standard brass propane fittings, regulators, and manifold inlets found throughout the JR Products, Cavagna, and Fairview LP component families.
Left-hand POL fitting seats directly into standard RV propane cylinder service valves. No adapters required for most OEM tank setups.
Male inverted flare end mates with common RV regulator inlets and LP manifold fittings for a leak-free mechanical seal.
Tested and approved to UL and CSA standards for LP gas service -- required by many campgrounds, parks, and insurance policies.
1/4" ID rubber hose resists cracking and remains pliable across a wide temperature range, important for outdoor and seasonal RV use.
This pigtail matches the fitting combination installed at the factory on a large percentage of North American-built travel trailers, fifth wheels, and motorhomes. If your current hose uses a POL tank connection and a 1/4" inverted flare at the regulator, this is a direct swap.
POL fittings require a wrench and thread into the tank valve without an external nut -- the fitting itself is the connection. This is the older and still widely used OEM standard. If your tank valve has an external hand-tighten nut, you have an ACME or QCC1 valve and will need a different hose. Inspect your existing fitting before ordering.
LP hoses should be visually inspected at the start of every camping season and after any impact or freeze-thaw cycle. Look for cracking, abrasion, or fittings that feel loose. A 90-day limited warranty covers manufacturing defects -- physical damage or improper installation is not covered.
