Pigtail hoses are a wear-and-replace item in any RV propane system. Rubber degrades with UV exposure, ozone, and repeated flexing -- and a cracked or stiff pigtail is a safety hazard that should be replaced before every season. JR Products designed the 07-30725 as a direct OEM replacement, matching the thread specs and hose diameter used in factory LP installations across a wide range of travel trailers, fifth wheels, and motorhomes.
The QCC1 (Quick Closing Coupling Type 1) fitting on one end threads onto standard 20 lb. and 30 lb. DOT propane cylinders -- the tanks used on virtually all towable RVs. The opposite end terminates in a 1/4" male inverted flare, the standard connection used on most RV dual-stage regulators and LP manifolds.

Hand-tighten the QCC1 fitting onto your tank valve first, then snug it with a wrench -- do not over-torque. The male inverted flare end connects to your regulator inlet; use two wrenches to avoid twisting the hose body. After connecting, check for leaks with a propane-safe leak detection solution or approved electronic sniffer. Never use an open flame to check for leaks.
