A clean, code-compliant connection between your RV propane tank and regulator or appliance inlet. The JR Products 06-0135 is a 20-inch OEM-style pigtail hose fitted with an industry-standard QCC1 (Type 1) tank connector on one end and a 1/4" male inverted flare on the other -- the two most common connection points in recreational vehicle LP systems. UL and CSA listed for confidence in safety-critical propane plumbing.
The 06-0135 is the pigtail hose you reach for when replacing a cracked, kinked, or sun-degraded LP connection on an RV, camper trailer, or fifth wheel. At 20 inches, it provides enough slack to connect a horizontal or vertical tank valve to a two-stage or single-stage regulator without stressing the fittings -- an important detail that extends the life of both the hose and the regulator body.
JR Products is one of the most widely distributed OEM and replacement hardware suppliers in the RV industry. The 06-0135 is engineered to match original-equipment specifications, which means it drops in without adapters in the vast majority of Class A, Class C, and towable applications that use a standard QCC1 tank valve.
Type 1 (QCC1) connector threads onto standard 1-5/16"-18 UNEF propane tank valves found on virtually all RV and BBQ-style LP cylinders sold in North America.
The appliance end uses a 1/4" male inverted flare (MIF) fitting -- the standard for connecting to regulators, manifolds, and many direct-connect LP appliance inlets.
Independently tested and listed by Underwriters Laboratories and the Canadian Standards Association. Meets safety requirements for propane service in recreational vehicles.
Engineered to OEM dimensions and specifications, so this hose replaces worn pigtails on most RV dual-tank setups without modification or additional adapters.
The hose body is a 1/4" ID rubber LP hose rated for liquid petroleum gas service. The rubber compound is formulated to resist degradation from LP gas permeation and UV exposure -- two of the primary failure modes in propane hoses stored outdoors or under RV compartment covers. Both end fittings are brass, which resists corrosion in the damp environments common inside LP compartments.
In a standard RV two-tank setup, each LP cylinder feeds into a pigtail hose that connects to an automatic or manual changeover regulator. The pigtail absorbs vibration during travel and allows the tank to be swapped without disconnecting the regulator. The 20" length suits most under-tongue or exterior compartment installations where the tank valve and regulator inlet are separated by 12 to 18 inches.
