The KIB Battery Disconnect Latching Relay is a single-pulse latching relay. It only requires a short "pulse" of voltage to activate or deactivate the relay. This latching relay protects the coil by removing voltage from the coil after a time delay should the switch become stuck in the closed position or the wiring become grounded.
