The Redarc Relay Kit is a 60 amp multipurpose relay kit that allows a BCDC to be installed in a trailer that is being towed by a vehicle that is equipped with a smart alternator, thereby triggering the ignition source inside the vehicle allowing it to start and stop charging.
  • Relay kit allows your Redarc BCDC dual-input battery charger (331-BCDC1225D or 331-BCDC1240D) to recognize a smart alternator without a direct connection to the ignition source
  • Great for chargers installed in a trailer or other location where running an ignition wire from the vehicle is problematic
  • 60-Amp, sealed changeover relay triggers the charger to switch over to the more efficient charging option
  • 3/8" Contact pins ensure solid connection points for optimized performance
  • Kit includes: Heat shrink, Relay holder, Butt-splice connectors and Instruction sheet
  • Limited 2-year manufacturer warranty
