A faulty high-pressure switch typically presents as one of the following issues on Lippert hydraulic systems:
The switch threads into the hydraulic manifold block. Depressurize the hydraulic system before removal. Apply thread sealant appropriate for hydraulic fluid (PTFE tape or anaerobic sealant rated for hydraulic use) to the male threads before installation. Torque to manufacturer specification -- overtightening a brass-body pressure switch can crack the housing.
