A worn or missing footpad lets your landing gear dig into soft ground, shift under load, and damage the jack leg over time. The Lippert 700052 Standard Footpad gives you a solid, level base for your trailer's front landing gear -- compatible with all common jack types and ready to install right out of the box with the included hardware.
The 700052 is Lippert's standard rectangular footpad designed for trailer front landing gear. The 5 in. x 8 in. steel plate spreads the jack's load across a larger surface area than the bare jack leg alone, reducing sinkage on grass, gravel, and packed dirt. The 1.5 in. wide pin slot accepts the clevis pin (included) to lock the pad securely onto the bottom of the jack leg -- no tools required beyond a basic hand tool to seat the pin.
At just 1 lb., this footpad adds negligible weight while meaningfully improving stability at the hitch end of your trailer. The silver powder-coat or painted steel finish resists light corrosion in typical outdoor storage conditions. If you're replacing a cracked plastic foot, a bent OEM pad, or a missing pad on a used trailer, this is the direct replacement part to order.
Designed to fit all common landing gear jack types, including Lippert-branded front jacks on travel trailers and fifth wheels.
Comes with the clevis pin and bridge pin needed to attach the footpad to the jack leg -- no separate hardware order required.
Stamped steel construction holds up to the repeated load cycles of trailer hitching and unhitching without cracking or deforming like plastic alternatives.
Weighs 1 lb. and stores easily. Carrying a spare in your toolbox means you're covered if a pad walks off at a campsite.
Installation is straightforward on most landing gear setups:
