Stop sacrificing your hitch receiver or rear bumper for a bike rack. The Lippert Jack-It BikeWing mounts directly over your trailer's tongue jack using the existing 3-bolt pattern, putting two bikes right up front where the ride is smoothest -- and where you can see them in your rearview mirror the whole trip.
The A-frame of your travel trailer or cargo trailer is the most structurally stable point on the entire coach. Lippert engineered the Jack-It BikeWing to exploit exactly that, bolting over the tongue jack base rather than hanging off a hitch ball or rear bumper. The result is a carrier that tows confidently, stays visible in your mirrors, and leaves your receiver hitch free for a cargo carrier, weight distribution hitch, or anything else you need back there.
The "V" shaped arm design spreads the bikes outward so both are fully visible from the driver's seat. If a bike shifts or a strap loosens, you'll see it before it becomes a problem on the highway.
Upper cradles suspend each bike by the wheels. Two lower adjustable SwayStop pins grip the outside of each wheel, eliminating lateral movement without contacting the frame.
Wheel-cradle mounting works with all bike frame styles: step-through, diamond, full-suspension, children's bikes, and fat-tire bikes. No crossbar adapter needed.
The steel PowerTower frame structure shields the tongue jack head from road debris impact, adding a layer of protection to one of the most vulnerable components on the front of your trailer.
Two included lockable NoMotion pins lock the BikeWing arms into position, preventing rattling and oscillation noise during towing without tools.
The Jack-It BikeWing base plate installs over the 3-bolt pattern found on most round-tube tongue jacks, including common Lippert, Stromberg Carlson, and compatible aftermarket jacks. The hardware kit includes three 3/8" mounting bolts for the base and sixteen 1-1/2" bolts for the rack assembly. No drilling or frame modification is required on compatible jacks.
Each bike rests in an adjustable wheel cradle. The upper cradle captures the tire from above, and the lower SwayStop pin is repositioned by hand to clamp the outer wheel sidewall. Four heavy-duty foam bumpers line the BikeWing arms so the steel never contacts your bike's finish, paint, or carbon fiber. The adjustment range accommodates standard 26" and 700c wheels as well as plus-size tires.
The entire carrier is constructed from steel tubing with a black powder coat finish rated for rust resistance. At 25 lbs carrier weight and a 20" x 10" x 38" profile, it stores compactly in a truck bed or basement bay when not in use. All major subassemblies can be separated for storage without tools.
