The MB Sturgis 100833-12-MBS is a 12-inch flexible propane pigtail designed to connect a standard RV propane cylinder to a two-stage or automatic changeover regulator. The RV Type 1 connection (also called a QCC1 or ACME fitting) threads onto the standard 1-5/16"-18 UNEF left-hand external threads found on most portable propane cylinders and RV OEM tank valves sold since 1998.
The built-in back check valve on the tank-side fitting is what separates this pigtail from a basic hose. In a dual-tank changeover system, the back check prevents propane from flowing backward from the active supply side into the empty or disconnected cylinder -- a critical safety feature when swapping tanks without shutting off the system.
