A purpose-built LP gas hose for RV and residential propane systems. The MER413-48 connects two 3/8" female flare fittings with a flexible, thermoplastic UL- and CGA-approved hose body, fully crimped brass ferrules on both ends, and a 350 PSIG working pressure rating -- giving you reliable, tested performance wherever propane flexibility matters most.
Whether you are connecting an RV quick-disconnect to a regulator, extending reach between a propane tank and an appliance, or replacing a worn hose in a coach's gas distribution system, the Marshall Excelsior MER413-48 is a drop-in, code-compliant solution. At 48 inches long, it provides enough slack to accommodate vibration and minor movement without stressing fittings or creating kinks.
Both ends terminate in 3/8" female flare (SAE 45-degree flare) fittings -- the standard thread found on most RV regulators, portable appliance adapters, and propane hose-end assemblies. No adapters are needed for typical RV LP gas hookups that already use male flare outlets.
Rated well above typical RV propane system operating pressures, providing a significant safety margin for low-pressure and high-pressure LP applications.
Thermoplastic hose body meets Underwriters Laboratories and Compressed Gas Association standards for LP gas service -- accepted for use in inspected and code-compliant installations.
Both ends are factory-crimped with solid brass ferrules, eliminating the risk of field-assembled or clamped connections pulling apart under pressure or vibration.
Each assembly is pull-tested to 400 lbs, confirming the crimp integrity of the ferrule-to-hose bond before the hose leaves the factory.
The MER413-48 hose assembly includes integral thermal protection on the hose body -- an added layer of resistance against radiant heat sources common in coach engine bays, generator compartments, and outdoor cooking setups.
Both ends are 3/8" female flare (SAE 45-degree). Your mating fittings must be 3/8" male flare on both sides. If one side of your connection uses a POL fitting, a 1/4" flare, or a 1/2" NPT, you will need a separate adapter. Verify thread type and size on both appliance and supply connections before installing.
