Stay parked longer without shuffling your coach just to refill. The MB Sturgis Sturgi-Stay Deluxe Kit lets you tap an external auxiliary LP cylinder and feed it directly into your RV propane system -- or run a portable appliance off a bulk propane source -- without moving the rig. This deluxe version adds a 12 ft bulk adapter hose to the standard kit, giving you the flexibility to power a small portable appliance from a bulk cylinder at the same time.
Extended stays at a single site mean your built-in LP tanks can run low before you're ready to leave. The Sturgi-Stay system was designed specifically for this situation: connect an auxiliary DOT cylinder directly to your RV's propane system through the Sturgi-Stay fitting, and keep cooking, heating, and running appliances without unhooking and driving to a fill station.
The Deluxe Kit builds on the standard Sturgi-Stay by including both the 5 ft fill hose for your RV tank connection and a 12 ft bulk adapter hose so you can also run a small portable LP appliance -- a portable grill, a patio heater, or a camp stove -- from a bulk propane cylinder simultaneously.
5 ft (60 in) thermoplastic hose with a POL tank connector with excess flow protection on one end and a 1/4 in male inverted flare on the other. Plugs directly into your RV's service inlet.
1/4 in ID thermoplastic CGA hose with a No. 600 male swivel on one end and a No. 600 female swivel on the other. Powers a portable appliance from a bulk cylinder.
Rated from -40 F to 350 F, so the hoses and fittings hold up in cold-weather camping as well as high-heat storage conditions.
Each component in the kit meets the applicable UL and/or CSA LP gas standards. Limited 1-year manufacturer warranty. Made in the USA.
The heart of the kit is the Sturgi-Stay fitting -- a multi-port POL adapter that threads onto your auxiliary LP cylinder valve. It provides a POL tank connector inlet, a 1/4 in female inverted flare service port, and a No. 600 (1 in-20) bulk propane adapter with a female POL connection. This single fitting is what allows both hoses to be used at the same time from one cylinder.
Both hoses use 1/4 in ID thermoplastic construction -- the same material used in professional-grade LP service hoses. Thermoplastic resists LP gas permeation, handles outdoor UV exposure better than standard rubber, and remains flexible at low temperatures.
