Keep your RV or camper LP system running longer without swapping tanks. The MB Sturgis Sturgi-Stay Auxiliary Fill Hose connects an external propane cylinder directly to your Sturgi-Stay Quick Disconnect port, giving you a continuous supply of LP gas during extended stays -- no tools, no awkward connections, no interruptions to cooking, heating, or absorption refrigeration.
Extended camping trips, seasonal sites, or boondocking setups all benefit from an auxiliary propane supply. Rather than swapping in a new tank every few days, this 72-inch hose lets you tee in a standard propane cylinder -- 20 lb, 30 lb, or larger -- directly through a Sturgi-Stay Quick Disconnect. The 6-foot reach gives you real flexibility in how you position the auxiliary tank relative to your rig.
The hose is built with a 1/4-inch ID thermoplastic core designed for LP gas service. One end terminates in a standard POL fitting that threads onto the service valve of any conventional propane cylinder. The other end is a Model 250 male quick disconnect plug that pairs with MB Sturgis Sturgi-Stay quick disconnect receivers. Connection and disconnection are fast and leak-free when properly seated.
Left-hand threaded POL fitting connects to the service valve on standard propane cylinders. No adapter needed for most common LP tanks.
Male Model 250 quick disconnect plug mates with MB Sturgis Sturgi-Stay receivers for a fast, tool-free hookup and positive gas shutoff on disconnect.
Rated to 350 PSI -- well above normal LP vapor-phase working pressures -- for a safe margin across all typical RV and camping propane applications.
Rated from -40F to 140F (-40C to 60C), so the hose stays flexible and gas-tight through cold winter mornings and hot summer afternoons alike.
MB Sturgis designed the Sturgi-Stay system for RVers who stay in one location for more than a day or two. A Sturgi-Stay receiver is installed permanently on the exterior LP supply panel or near the main regulator. From that point, any compatible Sturgi-Stay hose or accessory can be plugged in and unplugged without touching the main tank connections. This auxiliary fill hose is the piece that bridges your extra cylinder to that receiver.
This hose is intended for LP vapor-phase service only. Typical uses include:
The hose body is 1/4-inch ID thermoplastic, chosen for its flexibility across the full temperature range and its resistance to LP gas permeation. End fittings are crimped -- not clamped -- for a secure, leak-resistant seal at each termination. The assembly is manufactured in the USA under MB Sturgis quality standards and carries a limited 1-year manufacturer warranty.
