Connect your existing propane gas line to any appliance with a 3/8" male flare fitting using this ready-to-install hose assembly from Mr. Heater. Solid brass end fittings, a flexible reinforced hose body, and rigorous pressure testing make this a dependable choice for RVs, campers, portable heaters, and outdoor appliances.
The Mr. Heater F271149-72 is a 6-foot propane hose assembly designed to bridge your existing LP gas line to appliances that use a standard 3/8" male flare inlet. At 6 feet, it gives you enough working length to route the hose without sharp bends, which is especially useful when connecting portable Mr. Heater units, outdoor grills, or auxiliary LP appliances to an RV's onboard propane system or a standard POL-style tank fitted with a regulator and 3/8" flare outlet.
Both end fittings are machined from solid brass -- corrosion-resistant, leak-resistant, and compatible with standard propane fittings found throughout the RV aftermarket. The hose itself is flexible rubber construction, reinforced for durability and tested well beyond normal operating pressures.
Both ends are machined solid brass for a leak-resistant seal and long-term corrosion resistance in outdoor and RV environments.
Factory pressure tested to 600 PSI and stretch tested to 400 PSI -- far beyond normal LP operating pressures for confidence on every connection.
3/8" female flare inlet connects to your gas supply; 3/8" male flare outlet connects to compatible appliance inlets. Standard sizing, no adapters needed in most setups.
Six feet provides enough slack to route the hose cleanly without kinking, making it practical for portable heater hookups and RV compartment connections alike.
Flare fittings create a metal-to-metal seal by pressing a flared tube end against a matching cone seat -- no sealant tape required, and no sealant tape should be used on flare connections. The 3/8" size refers to the nominal thread size (3/8"-24 UNF thread on SAE 45-deg flare fittings standard in LP gas applications). If your appliance or regulator has a POL or QCC1 outlet, you will need a matching adapter before attaching this hose. This hose is designed for use downstream of a regulator at standard low-pressure LP delivery (typically 11" water column / approximately 0.4 PSI for most appliances), not for high-pressure applications directly off a tank valve.
Inspect the hose and fittings before each use. Do not use if the hose shows cracking, kinking, abrasion, or any sign of damage. Hand-tighten flare fittings first, then snug with a wrench -- do not overtighten. Always leak-test connections with an approved leak-detection solution after installation. Keep the hose away from open flames, sharp edges, and pinch points when routing through an RV compartment.
