The Cummins Onan 149-2648 is the OEM-specified in-line fuel filter for the LP Liquid fuel configuration of the HGJAC (Emerald Advantage), HGJAB (Marquis Gold), and HGJAA (Marquis Platinum) RV generator series. It is positioned at the fuel pump in the LP liquid fuel delivery line and is replaced every 450 hours per the Cummins Onan maintenance schedule.
This filter applies exclusively to LP Liquid fuel configurations — not LP Vapor, carbureted gasoline, or EFI variants of the same generator models. LP Vapor models on these series do not use a serviceable inline filter at this position. It does not apply to: • LP Vapor HGJAC or HGJAB — no serviceable inline filter at this position • Gasoline (Carbureted) HGJAC or HGJAB — use part 149-2341-01 at the fuel pump • EFI HGJAC, HGJAB, or HGJAA — use part 147-0860 Confirm your generator's fuel system type from the model data plate before ordering.
