The Cummins Onan 140-4151 is the OEM-specified air filter for the HDZAA Quiet Diesel RV generator, Spec A–E. Like all Green Label air filters, it is designed with a special foam pre-cleaner providing an additional stage of filtration ahead of the main filter element.
Non-Green Label substitutes may use lighter-density filter paper with sealing surfaces that become brittle and crack over time — allowing unfiltered air directly into the diesel engine's intake. Even a small amount of ingested dirt causes accelerated wear on fuel system and engine components.
