Dedicated 25-foot clean-out hose for flushing RV black water tanks, gray water tanks, tote tanks, sewer hoses, and sanitation accessories without mixing with drinking water hoses.
The Camco 22990 Rhino clean-out hose is designed as a dedicated rinse hose for RV sanitation tasks. It is intended for flushing black water tanks, gray water tanks, tote tanks, sewer hoses, and compatible rinse accessories where a separate non-drinking-water hose should be used.
Its bright orange color helps prevent accidental mix-ups with freshwater or drinking water hoses, while the 25-foot length gives extra reach around the campsite, dump station, or storage area. The 5/8" inside diameter and standard hose-style connections make it useful with many common tank rinsers, hose rinsers, water spigots, and gray/black water clean-out accessories.
Designed for flushing black tanks, gray tanks, tote tanks, and sanitation accessories
Provides extra reach at dump stations, campsites, and storage areas
Standard hose size for many rinse and clean-out applications
Helps keep sanitation hose separate from drinking water hoses
Camco 22990 is a 25-foot gray/black water clean-out hose with 5/8" inside diameter. It is not a 3" RV sewer hose, does not include 3" bayonet sewer fittings, and is not intended to carry sewage from the RV outlet to a dump station inlet. For dumping RV holding tanks, use a properly sized 3" RV sewer hose kit with the correct bayonet and dump-station fittings.
Before Starting: Confirm this hose will be used only for non-drinking-water rinse and sanitation cleanup tasks. Keep it stored separately from RV freshwater hoses. Basic Use Steps: 1. Identify the Hose: Use this orange hose only for gray/black water rinse tasks, never for drinking water. 2. Connect to Water Source: Attach one end to a standard water spigot or approved rinse connection. 3. Connect to Rinse Accessory: Attach the other end to a compatible tank rinser, hose rinser, tote tank rinse connection, or gray/black water clean-out accessory. 4. Flush or Rinse: Turn water on gradually and rinse the tank, tote, hose, or accessory according to the equipment manufacturer’s instructions. 5. Avoid Cross-Contamination: Keep the hose end away from sewer fittings, dump station surfaces, and freshwater equipment when possible. 6. Drain After Use: Disconnect and drain the hose before storage. 7. Store Separately: Store away from potable water hoses, filters, regulators, and freshwater fittings.
Package Contents: • 1 Camco 22990 Rhino 25 ft gray/black water clean-out hose • 5/8" inside diameter hose • Standard hose-style end fittings NOT Included — May Also Need: • 3" RV sewer hose • Bayonet sewer fittings • 4-in-1 dump station elbow • Sewer hose support • Black tank rinser or hose rinser attachment • Hose caps or storage bag • Separate drinking water hose This listing is for the clean-out/rinse hose only unless otherwise stated. Confirm any sewer hose, rinser, adapter, or dump-station fittings needed for your setup before ordering.
To confirm this hose is right for your setup, consider the following: • Whether you need a rinse hose or an actual 3" sewer dump hose • Distance from the water spigot to the tank rinser, hose rinser, or tote tank • Whether your rinse accessory uses standard garden hose threads • Whether 25 ft is long enough for your dump station or campsite layout • Where the hose will be stored away from drinking water equipment • Whether you also need a separate RV sewer hose kit for waste dumping Why this matters: A clean-out hose is used to supply rinse water to sanitation accessories. It does not replace a 3" sewer hose used for dumping holding tanks.
Match this hose by intended use, length, hose-thread connection style, and sanitation rinse application. Do not use it as a drinking water hose or as a replacement for a 3" RV sewer hose kit.
If rinse performance is poor, check water pressure, hose kinks, washers, accessory connection, tank rinser condition, and valve position before replacing additional parts.
This hose is for gray/black water tank flushing, tote tank rinsing, and sanitation cleanup only. Do not use it for drinking water, freshwater tank filling, food preparation, bathing water, fuel, oil, chemicals, or pressurized sewer discharge. Keep this hose separate from all potable water hoses and accessories to reduce cross-contamination risk.
