GE PMCSRS Dual Fuel RV Water Heater Toggle Control Switch, White

Interior wall-mounted control switch for GE Profile dual fuel RV water heaters. Independent gas and electric operation control.

Product Overview

The GE Profile PMCSRS Dual Fuel Toggle Control Switch is a genuine GE Appliances interior control panel designed specifically for GE Profile PR06DSATBA and PR10DSATBA dual fuel RV water heaters. This white wall-mounted switch provides convenient interior control of your water heater's dual fuel operation, allowing you to independently power the gas burner and electric heating element from inside your RV.

This double-panel toggle switch design gives you complete control over your water heater's operation mode. You can run the gas burner only for off-grid boondocking, use the electric element only when plugged into shore power, or operate both simultaneously for maximum hot water recovery speed. The 12V switch mounts securely to your RV's interior wall with four mounting screws for easy access and reliable operation.

✓ Compatible Water Heater Models

This toggle control switch is designed to fit the following GE Profile dual fuel RV water heater models:

PR06DSATBA - GE Profile 6 Gallon Dual Fuel RV Water Heater
PR10DSATBA - GE Profile 10 Gallon Dual Fuel RV Water Heater

About GE Profile Dual Fuel Water Heaters:
These dual fuel water heaters can operate on LP gas, 120V AC electric, or both simultaneously for faster hot water recovery. The PMCSRS control switch allows you to select which fuel source to use based on your power availability and hot water needs. The gas side uses a 12V direct spark ignition (DSI) system, while the electric side uses a standard 120V AC heating element.

🔧 Installation & Operation Information

Mounting Location:
The PMCSRS control switch should be mounted on an interior wall of your RV in a location that is easily accessible yet protected from moisture and direct water exposure. Common mounting locations include inside cabinets, on hallway walls near the water heater, or in utility compartments. The switch requires a 12V DC connection from your RV's electrical system and wiring connections to the water heater's gas and electric controls.

How the Dual Toggle Switch Works:
The PMCSRS features two independent toggle switches - one for the LP gas burner and one for the 120V electric heating element. Each toggle can be operated independently:
Gas Toggle ON: Activates the 12V direct spark ignition system to light the LP gas burner
Electric Toggle ON: Powers the 120V AC heating element (requires shore power or generator)
Both Toggles ON: Operates both heating sources simultaneously for maximum hot water production

Installation Overview:
1. Turn off power to the water heater at the breaker panel and shut off LP gas supply
2. Select a suitable interior wall location for switch mounting
3. Mount the switch plate securely to the wall using four screws (not included)
4. Connect 12V DC power wire from RV electrical system to switch
5. Connect control wires from switch to water heater's gas and electric controls
6. Verify all connections are secure and properly insulated
7. Restore power and test both gas and electric operation

Operating Tips:
• Use gas-only mode when boondocking to conserve battery power (12V draw is minimal)
• Use electric-only mode when plugged into shore power to avoid using LP gas
• Use both modes simultaneously when you need hot water quickly or for high-demand situations
• Always ensure water heater tank is full of water before turning on either heating source
