The Arvika 7002AF gives A-frame travel trailer owners a purpose-built way to haul two bikes without sacrificing cargo space inside the trailer. The 7000 series rack mounts directly to the A-frame tongue, keeps bikes stable on rough roads, and comes as a complete kit -- frame, arms, straps, gutters, and mounting hardware all included.
Most hitch-mounted bike racks are designed for tow vehicles, not trailers. The Arvika 7002AF is engineered specifically for the A-frame tongue of a travel trailer, using a dedicated steel trailer mounting bracket that bolts securely to the frame rail. That means no adapters, no improvised strapping, and no risk of the rack swinging loose on a winding road.
The main hoop structure is lightweight aluminum -- a 26-inch wide base, 20-inch horizontal hoop, and 33-inch vertical hoop -- while the bike-contact arms are steel with a soft rubberized coating to protect your bike's frame and finish. The 360-degree rotating arm clamps let you position the hold point at the frame tube, handlebar stem, or bench-mount location, making it compatible with a wide variety of bike geometries including step-through frames.
Lightweight aluminum main structure resists corrosion while keeping overall rack weight manageable. Full assembly weighs 55 lbs.
Supports up to 200 lbs total with reinforcement arms installed. Without reinforcement arms, capacity is 150 lbs. Holds up to 2 standard bikes.
Rubberized steel arm clamps rotate fully to grip the bike frame, handlebars, or bench-mount position -- works with road, mountain, and step-through frames.
Bike rack, reinforcement arms, 2 straps per bike, steel trailer mounting bracket, 7000 series base, standard gutters, bike mounting arms, and 2 wheel stoppers per kit.
The 7002AF ships with standard gutters sized for bike tires under 2 inches wide -- suitable for most road, hybrid, and standard mountain bike tires. If you are transporting bikes with wider tires, you will need to upgrade the gutters separately:
The 7002AF mounting bracket is designed for standard A-frame tongue profiles used across a wide range of production travel trailers. Confirmed compatible brands include:
