Verify Flange Thickness: Measure your slide-out flange with calipers — this seal fits 1/4" flanges only 2. Remove Old Seal: Pull the existing wiper seal off the flange along the full length to be replaced 3. Measure & Cut: Cut the new seal to the required length using a sharp utility knife or tin snips (the metal core requires a firm cutting tool) 4.
