B&W Hitches Class IV Dual Ball -- 2-5/16" & 2" B&W Turnoverball TS10037B -- Class IV Double Ball Mount with 2-5/16" and 2" Balls

Stop swapping balls every time you change trailers. The B&W TS10037B gives you both common hitch ball sizes -- 2-5/16 inch and 2 inch -- on a single forged steel mount that flips in seconds. Whether you're hooking up a fifth-wheel-ready gooseneck adapter, a conventional travel trailer, a boat trailer, or a utility hauler, one mount handles it all. Built in the USA to B&W's heavy-duty Turnoverball standards, this Class IV unit is engineered for trucks and serious towing, not weekend-only duty.

Two Ball Sizes. One Mount. Zero Fumbling.

The TS10037B is part of B&W's Turnoverball double ball mount lineup -- a series purpose-built for truck owners who tow more than one type of trailer. The mount slides into a standard 2-inch receiver hitch and locks with a standard hitch pin (not included). Flip the shank 180 degrees and you switch between the 2-5/16 inch ball (for most conventional travel trailers and heavy-duty trailers) and the 2 inch ball (for utility, boat, and lighter-duty trailers), no tools required beyond a mallet or your hands depending on fit.

Forged steel construction -- the same approach B&W uses across their Turnoverball gooseneck and fifth-wheel product lines -- means this is not a stamped or welded assembly. The one-piece forged shank and ball platform handles real-world shock loads without the flex points that welded mounts develop over time. This is a Class IV rated mount, appropriate for the higher tongue weight capacities found in heavy half-ton and three-quarter-ton truck applications.

Dual Ball Sizes Ready to Go

Ships with both a 2-5/16 inch and a 2 inch hitch ball already installed. No need to source balls separately or carry spares in your truck bed.

Forged Steel Construction

One-piece forged steel shank -- not stamped, not welded -- for maximum strength and long service life even under repeated heavy towing cycles.

Class IV Rated

Designed for Class IV hitch applications common on half-ton and three-quarter-ton trucks with 2-inch receiver tubes and high gross trailer weight ratings.

Tool-Free Ball Switch

Flip the mount to change active ball size without removing the shank from the receiver. Quick enough to do at the trailer park or boat launch.

Where the TS10037B Fits in the B&W Double Ball Mount Lineup

B&W offers double ball mounts in several drop/rise configurations and finish options. The TS10037B is the Class IV model pairing a 2-5/16 inch ball with a 2 inch ball -- the two most common ball sizes in North American RV and trailer towing. This covers the vast majority of applications a truck owner encounters:

  • 2-5/16 inch side -- most conventional travel trailers 6,000 lbs GVW and above, many boat trailers, heavy equipment trailers, and gooseneck adapter balls
  • 2 inch side -- utility trailers, lighter boat trailers, cargo trailers, and older conventional trailer couplers rated for 2 inch balls

If your application requires a 1-7/8 inch ball, or if you need a specific drop/rise that differs from this model, check the broader B&W double ball mount series for the matching configuration. The TS10037B is designed for a level or near-level towing setup on most full-size trucks with standard 2-inch receiver heights.

Made in the USA: B&W Hitches manufactures its Turnoverball products in Humboldt, Kansas. Forging, machining, and finishing are all domestic. This matters for quality control and for customers who prefer domestically produced towing hardware.

Compatibility and Fitment

The TS10037B fits any standard 2-inch receiver hitch tube rated Class III or Class IV. Common fitments include:

  • Ford F-150, F-250, F-350 with factory or aftermarket 2-inch receiver hitches
  • Chevrolet Silverado 1500, 2500HD, 3500HD with 2-inch receiver
  • GMC Sierra 1500, 2500HD, 3500HD with 2-inch receiver
  • Ram 1500, 2500, 3500 with 2-inch receiver
  • Toyota Tundra and Tacoma with 2-inch receiver
  • Nissan Titan and Frontier with 2-inch receiver
  • Full-size SUVs and vans with Class III or IV 2-inch receivers

Verify your hitch receiver's gross tongue weight (GTW) and tongue weight (TW) ratings against your trailer's actual tongue weight before towing. The mount itself is Class IV rated, but your hitch, frame, and truck ratings are the binding limits.

Hitch Pin Not Included: The TS10037B requires a standard 5/8-inch hitch receiver pin and clip (or a locking hitch pin) to secure the shank in the receiver. These are sold separately. A locking pin is recommended to prevent theft of the mount when unattended.

Towing Applications for RV and Trailer Owners

This mount is well-matched to the mixed-use towing that RV owners and outdoor enthusiasts actually do. Consider these common scenarios:

  • Primary trailer is a travel trailer requiring a 2-5/16 inch ball -- flip to the large ball side for weekends away
  • Secondary trailer is a utility or boat trailer using a 2 inch ball -- flip back at the launch ramp without fumbling for a wrench
  • Campground or job site use where multiple trailer types are connected to the same truck in a single day
  • Full-timers who tow their own rig but also regularly move utility trailers, car haulers, or equipment on the same trip
Maintenance Tip: Inspect the ball threads and shank for corrosion annually, especially in northern states where road salt is used. Lightly grease the hitch ball shanks and the 2-inch receiver shank with anti-seize compound to prevent galling. B&W's black powder coat finish resists rust but benefits from occasional touch-up on high-wear contact points.
Drop/Rise Verification: The TS10037B has a specific ball height relative to the shank. Before purchasing, measure the distance from the ground to your receiver tube opening and compare it to your trailer coupler height at level. If your truck sits significantly higher or lower than your trailer tongue, you may need a different drop or rise configuration from the B&W double ball lineup.

Important Information -- Read Before Purchase and Use
  • Always verify your truck's hitch receiver gross trailer weight (GTW) and tongue weight (TW) ratings against your actual trailer tongue weight before towing. The ball mount rating does not override your vehicle or hitch receiver's limits.
  • A 5/8-inch hitch pin is required to secure this mount in the receiver and is NOT included. Do not tow without a properly installed hitch pin.
  • Confirm the drop or rise provided by this specific model matches your truck-to-trailer level towing requirements before purchase. An improper drop/rise creates unsafe towing geometry.
  • Inspect ball nut torque before each tow. Hitch balls can loosen under vibration. Follow B&W's torque specifications for the ball nuts on each ball size.
  • This mount is rated Class IV and is intended for use with Class III and Class IV receiver hitches only. Do not use in Class I or Class II receivers.
  • Not intended for use with weight distribution systems or sway control without verifying compatibility with your specific WD head and shank arrangement.
