B&W Hitches Class IV Rated Dual Ball -- 1-7/8" & 2" B&W Hitches TS10035B -- Dual Ball Class IV Trailer Hitch Ball Mount

Stop swapping balls every time you hook up a different trailer. The B&W Hitches TS10035B gives you both a 1-7/8 inch and a 2 inch hitch ball on a single mount, ready to go the moment you pull out of the driveway. Flip it, pin it, tow it -- built to Class IV standards for trucks and heavy-duty tow vehicles that mean business.

Two Balls, One Mount -- No More Digging in the Toolbox

The TS10035B is part of B&W's Tow & Stow dual-ball mount lineup, one of the most recognized ball mount families in the aftermarket towing world. Where most single-ball mounts force you to carry extra hardware and waste time swapping between a boat trailer (1-7/8 inch) and a camper or cargo trailer (2 inch), this mount permanently mounts both balls on a reversible shank -- so the right ball is always in position.

B&W manufactures this mount from forged and machined steel, finished in a durable black powder coat that resists road grime, rust, and the kind of abuse that comes from daily towing use. At 27 lbs, this is a solid, confidence-inspiring piece of hardware -- not a lightweight stamped unit.

Dual Ball Convenience

Pre-installed 1-7/8 inch and 2 inch balls on a single mount -- switch trailer types without removing any hardware.

Class IV Rated

Built for Class IV receiver hitches, suited for heavy-duty tow vehicles including full-size trucks and large SUVs.

Reversible Design

Flip the shank in the receiver to select the correct rise or drop, positioning the right ball at the correct height for your trailer.

Forged Steel Construction

Heavy-duty forged steel with black powder coat finish resists corrosion and withstands years of regular towing use.

Where the TS10035B Fits in the B&W Tow & Stow Lineup

B&W's Tow & Stow series covers a wide range of receiver classes, rise/drop configurations, and ball combinations. The TS10035B is the Class IV dual-ball configuration with 1-7/8 inch and 2 inch balls -- the two most common trailer ball sizes in North America. If you tow a popup camper, a jet ski trailer, or a small utility trailer alongside a larger conventional travel trailer or cargo trailer, this mount was designed with exactly that use case in mind.

Other models in the Tow & Stow family use 2 inch and 2-5/16 inch ball combinations (for heavier fifth-wheel and gooseneck-adjacent applications), but the TS10035B's 1-7/8 and 2 inch pairing is the right choice for recreational towing fleets that mix lighter and mid-weight trailers.

Perfect for RV Owners with Multiple Trailers

Full-timers and weekend warriors who tow a camper trailer with a 2 inch coupler AND keep a small utility or boat trailer with a 1-7/8 inch coupler will use both balls regularly. No more carrying a bag of loose hitch balls or hunting for a wrench at the campground entrance.

Fitment -- What Receivers This Mount Works With

The TS10035B is designed for standard 2 inch x 2 inch Class III/IV square receiver tubes, which are the most common receiver size on full-size pickup trucks, large SUVs, and Class A and Class C motorhome tow-vehicle hitches. Verify your receiver opening is 2 inches square before ordering.

  • Compatible with all 2-inch square Class III and Class IV hitch receivers
  • Fits trucks including Ford F-150/F-250/F-350, Chevrolet Silverado, GMC Sierra, Ram 1500/2500/3500, and similar platforms
  • Fits tow-package-equipped SUVs with Class IV receivers (Tahoe, Expedition, Suburban, Yukon XL, Sequoia, etc.)
  • Not designed for 1-1/4 inch Class I/II receivers
  • Not designed for 2-5/16 inch fifth-wheel or gooseneck applications
Rise/Drop Configuration

The TS10035B's reversible shank provides both a rise and a drop position. Flip the mount in the receiver to achieve the correct trailer coupler height. Always confirm your trailer tongue sits level when loaded -- an unlevel trailer affects towing stability and tire wear. Measure from the ground to your trailer coupler height and compare to your receiver height before selecting rise or drop orientation.

Installation Overview

Installation is straightforward -- slide the shank into your 2-inch receiver tube, insert the hitch pin through the receiver and shank hole, and secure with the clip or lock (hitch pin and clip included with most B&W ball mount packages; confirm what is included in box). No drilling or modification is required.

  • Insert shank into receiver with the desired ball facing forward and up
  • Align the pin holes and insert the hitch pin
  • Secure with the standard hairpin clip or an aftermarket receiver lock for added security
  • Check that the coupler drops cleanly over the correct ball and latches fully before towing
Maintenance Tips
  • Inspect ball shanks and ball surfaces for wear or scoring before each tow season
  • Apply a light coat of grease to the hitch balls to prevent coupler wear and reduce noise
  • Remove and store the mount when not in use to reduce corrosion exposure and deter theft
  • Check the hitch pin clip for deformation after heavy towing -- replace if bent or fatigued
Towing Weight Ratings -- Match to Your Vehicle and Trailer

Class IV designation covers a range of gross trailer weight (GTW) and tongue weight (TW) ratings. Always confirm your specific vehicle's tow rating, your hitch receiver's rating, and this mount's published GTW/TW ratings before towing. Never exceed the lowest rating in the chain -- vehicle, hitch, ball mount, or coupler. The 1-7/8 inch ball configuration is typically rated for lighter loads than the 2 inch ball; confirm both ratings against your trailer's actual weight.

Important Information -- Read Before Towing
  • This mount is rated for Class IV applications only -- confirm your receiver hitch is also Class IV rated before use.
  • Always match your towing setup to the lowest rated component in the chain: vehicle tow rating, hitch receiver rating, ball mount rating, and ball rating.
  • The 1-7/8 inch ball is not rated for the same maximum gross trailer weight as the 2 inch ball -- do not exceed the individual ball rating for whichever ball is in use.
  • Verify trailer coupler latch engagement before every departure. A ball that appears connected but is not fully latched is a serious road hazard.
  • This mount is designed for 2 inch square receivers only. Do not attempt to use in 1-1/4 inch receivers or with non-standard receiver tubes.
  • Do not use this mount for pintle hook, fifth-wheel, or gooseneck applications.
  • Inspect all welds, ball shanks, and the receiver shank for cracks or deformation before each tow season. Remove from service immediately if damage is found.
  • Always use a properly rated safety chain configuration in addition to the hitch ball connection -- never rely on the ball mount alone to retain the trailer.
