The Redarc FK40 is a 40A fuse kit designed for BCDC battery charger installations, including the BCDC1225D, BCDCN1225, and BCDC1220. It's equipped with high-quality fuses and fuse holders sized to fit the cable required for the specified current, helping ensure a solid, reliable connection. A common cause of dual battery installation problems is a poorly made fuse holder connection, which allows dirt and moisture to get between contact points and can generate enough heat to melt both the fuse and holder; this kit is built to avoid that failure point.
