Loose bikes on a carrier are a hazard -- to the bikes, to other vehicles, and to you. The Arvika AVKP0030 straps are designed specifically to cinch around the wheel and hold it firmly against the carrier tray while you drive. The nylon webbing resists stretching and wear through repeated use, and the one-way cam lock buckle keeps tension locked in without slipping under road vibration.
This set replaces or supplements the wheel straps included with compatible Arvika bike rack systems. If your existing straps are worn, cracked, or missing, these are the direct replacement. You get two straps per set -- enough to secure one bike at both the front and rear wheel, or to outfit two single-wheel securing points on a multi-bike carrier.
