The Suburban Mfg 525002 is an OEM replacement water heater limit thermostat switch, factory-rated at 130°F. It's mounted to a bracket that must keep both switches tight against the tank for proper operation, sending a signal to restart the water heater if the temperature falls below 100°F. This switch does not include a reset function.
This switch is compatible with Suburban water heaters with serial numbers after 940900091. Confirm the water heater's serial number and existing switch rating (some models use a 140°F switch, part #525016, instead) before ordering.
