The Suburban Mfg 233675 is an OEM replacement antifreeze limit switch for the Suburban ST-42 and ST-60 model on-demand (tankless) water heaters. This switch is part of the unit's freeze protection system, monitoring temperature and triggering a protective response when conditions approach freezing, helping guard the water heater against damage in cold weather.
These same ST-42/ST-60 water heaters also use a separate gas valve (part #161357) and a low air flow switch (part #233658), along with a manual limit switch (part #233676), if any of those components need replacing as well.
