UV exposure, road grime, ozone, and moisture are the leading causes of RV tire sidewall cracking and dry rot during storage. The ADCO Tyre Gard covers slip over your tires in seconds and create a durable barrier against all four threats. This set of four covers handles a standard two-axle RV or trailer completely, keeping all four tires protected through the off-season or during extended parking.
RV tires represent a significant investment, and sidewall degradation from UV radiation is one of the most common -- and most preventable -- causes of premature tire failure. ADCO's Tyre Gard covers are purpose-built for RVs, fifth wheels, travel trailers, and toy haulers that sit parked for weeks or months at a time. The two-tone tan colorway blends with most rigs and resists fading better than stark white covers.
Each cover is constructed from heavy-duty, water-repellent vinyl using double-needle stitching and overlapping seams. That construction detail matters: cheaper covers fail at the seams when rain pools or wind stresses the material. The interior flannel backing protects wheel and rim surfaces from scratching during installation and removal.
Blocks damaging UV rays, ozone, rain, and road dirt that accelerate sidewall cracking and dry rot on stored tires.
Heavy-duty vinyl exterior with double-needle stitching and overlapping seams sheds moisture and resists tearing under wind load.
Soft flannel backing protects wheel finishes and rim edges from scuffs during installation and repeated removal.
Included Velcro straps and grommets lock each cover in place so wind cannot dislodge them during extended storage.
These covers are designed for tires measuring 27 to 29 inches in overall diameter. Before ordering, measure the full outside diameter of your mounted tire -- not just the wheel diameter. Common RV and trailer tire sizes that fall in this range include many 205, 215, and 225 series tires on 14" and 15" wheels. If your tire diameter is at or near 27" or 29", measure carefully; ADCO offers adjacent sizes in the Tyre Gard line for tires outside this window.
No tools required. Slip each cover over the face of the tire, pull it snug around the perimeter, and secure the Velcro straps through the grommets. The overlapping seam design means you do not need a perfect fit to maintain weatherproofing. Most owners can cover all four tires in under 10 minutes.
Clean covers with mild soap and water. Avoid petroleum-based cleaners or strong solvents, which can degrade the vinyl and compromise water repellency. Allow covers to dry fully before storing them folded to prevent mildew.
