The Suburban Mfg 525016 is an OEM replacement water heater limit thermostat switch, factory-rated at 140°F. It's mounted to a bracket that must keep both switches tight against the tank for proper operation, and helps maintain safe water heater operation by limiting maximum tank temperature. This switch does not include a reset function.
This switch is compatible with Suburban water heaters with serial numbers after 940900091. Confirm the water heater's serial number and existing switch rating (some models use a 130°F switch, part #525002/525007, instead) before ordering.
