The JR Products 06-30225 is a heavy duty stainless steel mesh screen sized to fit the flush mount door on a Suburban 6 gallon RV water heater, keeping birds and rodents from nesting inside the vent openings built into the door itself. A blocked door vent can interfere with proper combustion airflow, so keeping pests out helps the water heater operate safely. The fine stainless steel mesh does not restrict airflow, and an installation tool is included to make the job simple.
This screen is designed specifically for the flush mount door style found on Suburban 6 gallon water heaters, not a separate exterior vent opening.
