The Falcon 3HD tow bar is one component of a complete flat towing system. A safe and legal setup requires: 1. Tow Bar (this unit — Model 622): Mounts to the motorhome's 2" receiver hitch 2. Baseplates: Vehicle-specific Roadmaster baseplates mount to the towed vehicle's frame 3. Safety Cables: Required by law in most states; use 8,000 lb. or heavier rated cables (sold separately — Combo Kit 9243-1 available) 4. Power/Wiring Cord: For taillights and brake lights on the towed vehicle (sold separately) 5. Supplemental Braking System: Required by law in many states; Roadmaster offers InvisiBrake, Even Brake, and BrakeMaster systems Note: Tow bar must be level within the "Safe Zone" — no more than 3" above level or 4" below level during towing.
