The Suburban Mfg 5323A (model SW6DEC) is a 6-gallon dual-fuel water heater that runs on LP gas, 120V electric, or both simultaneously for faster recovery. It uses direct spark ignition (DSI) on the gas side and a 1440-watt electric heating element on the 120V side. The "Corded" designation means this model connects via a standard plug-in power cord rather than being hardwired, simplifying installation and service. The durable porcelain-lined steel tank includes a replaceable anode rod for long service life, and a fast recovery rate delivers more hot water with fewer cool-water cycles during peak use.
Ignition on this model is Direct Spark (for the gas side). The "Electric" designation in the model name refers to the dual-fuel 1440-watt electric heating element, which lets the unit run on 120V power in addition to propane.
The exterior access door and on/off switch are not included and must be purchased separately for a complete installation. Compatible 6-gallon flush-mount access doors include part #6255ACW (Colonial White) and part #6255AEB (Black).
