Lippert Fits 26" Door Right-Hand Entry Lippert 730813 Screen Shot Automatic Screen Door Closer -- 26"

Tired of screen doors left hanging open and the bugs that follow? The Lippert Screen Shot installs directly into your existing screen door channels and uses elastic webbing to pull the door shut every single time -- no slamming, no manual latching, no screen chasing in a breeze. Designed specifically for Lippert right-hand entry doors in the 26" door size category.

A Hands-Free Solution to an Everyday RV Annoyance

Every RV owner knows the drill -- someone steps out, forgets to pull the screen, and suddenly you are picking moths out of the galley. The Screen Shot eliminates that problem with a passive elastic-webbing system that requires zero effort from occupants. The door closes itself, every time, automatically.

Installation is a straightforward DIY job. Custom-fit anchors slide snugly into the inner channels of your Lippert screen door and lock in place with included anchor screws. The elastic webbing mounts in the door jamb, stretches as the door opens, and retracts to draw the door closed with controlled, consistent tension -- firm enough to latch, gentle enough not to slam.

No-Slam Closing

Elastic webbing applies smooth, progressive tension so the door closes firmly without banging the frame or startling passengers.

Channel-Mount Anchors

Custom anchors fit snugly into the screen door inner channels and are secured with anchor screws -- no drilling into the door face required.

All Hardware Included

Comes complete with anchor screws and all required fasteners. No additional hardware purchases needed for a standard installation.

Easy DIY Install

Designed for RV owners to install themselves with basic hand tools. No professional service required for most installations.

How the Screen Shot Works

The system relies on a length of elastic webbing routed from an anchor point in the screen door channel to a mount in the door jamb. When the screen door swings open, the webbing stretches and stores energy. The moment the door is released, that stored tension pulls it back to the closed position. Unlike pneumatic closers or spring hinges, there are no mechanical parts to seize, oil, or adjust -- the elastic webbing is the mechanism.

Keeps Bugs Out, Hands Free -- Once installed, occupants can walk in and out without thinking about the screen. The door handles closing duty on its own, making it especially useful for households with kids, pets, or frequent in-and-out traffic during outdoor cooking or campsite activities.

Fitment and Compatibility

The Lippert 730813 is sized for 26" Lippert right-hand entry doors. The actual installed length of the webbing assembly is 23.5". This dimension must match your door opening to ensure proper tension and full closure travel.

Compatibility Warning: This closer is designed exclusively for Lippert (LCI) right-hand entry doors. It is NOT compatible with Lippert G-Class doors and will not fit left-hand or third-party door brands. Before ordering, locate the door identification sticker on the inside of your entry door frame. Most LCI entry doors also carry an LCI decal in the bottom right corner of the door window. Confirm your door model and hand orientation before purchasing.
How to Find Your Door Identification: Open the entry door and look at the inside edge of the door frame. There should be a sticker or label identifying the door manufacturer, model, and configuration. If you see an LCI or Lippert label and your door swings right-hand, this closer is designed for your door.

Installation Overview

  • Slide the custom channel anchors into the inner track of the screen door.
  • Secure the anchors with the included anchor screws.
  • Route the elastic webbing and mount the jamb end of the assembly to the door frame.
  • Test closure tension by opening the screen door fully and releasing -- the door should swing closed and latch without assistance.
  • All required fasteners are included in the package.
Maintenance Tip: Periodically inspect the elastic webbing for signs of cracking, fraying, or loss of tension, especially after extended UV exposure in sunny climates. Replace the unit if the door no longer closes fully under its own tension.

Important Information
  • This product fits Lippert right-hand entry doors sized at 26" only. Using this closer on an incorrect door size will result in improper tension and may prevent the door from closing fully.
  • Not compatible with Lippert G-Class doors. G-Class entry doors require a different Screen Shot part number.
  • Not designed for left-hand doors or any non-Lippert brand screen doors.
  • Verify your door model using the identification sticker on the inside edge of the entry door frame before ordering. Most LCI doors also display an LCI decal at the lower right corner of the door window.
  • Do not stretch or force the elastic webbing beyond its natural range during installation -- overstretching will reduce service life.
  • Inspect webbing periodically for UV degradation, cracking, or permanent deformation, particularly in hot or high-sun climates.
