This wiper seal is designed to work in conjunction with a companion 1" bulb seal, sold separately. Compatible companion options include the 1" Bulb Weatherstrip and the 1" Ribbed Hollow Bulb Weatherstrip. The wiper alone does not provide a complete slide-out seal system ā the bulb seal compresses against the RV body when the slide-out is closed. Confirm you have or are ordering the correct companion bulb seal before purchasing. Installation Temperature: Apply between 60Ā°F and 104Ā°F (15Ā°Cā40Ā°C) for best adhesive bond strength. The temperature difference between the seal and the bonding surface should be as small as possible. Completely remove all old seal material, adhesive residue, dirt, wax, and moisture before applying, and wipe with isopropyl alcohol to ensure a clean, dry surface.

What You Need: No hardware required. Recommended supplies: isopropyl alcohol or adhesive remover, clean cloth, tape measure, scissors or utility knife. Basic Installation Steps: 1. Check Temperature: Confirm ambient temp is between 60Ā°F and 104Ā°F (15Ā°Cā40Ā°C) ā match surface and seal temperature as closely as possible 2. Prep the Surface: Remove all old seal material, adhesive residue, dirt, wax, and moisture completely from the RV frame 3. Clean & Dry: Wipe with isopropyl alcohol and allow to fully dry 4. Measure & Cut: Cut to required length with scissors or a sharp utility knife 5. Use the Edge Guide: Align the blade using the built-in wiper edge guide for a straight installation 6. Peel & Press: Remove the adhesive backing and press the seal firmly onto the frame, working from one end to the other 7. Install Companion Bulb Seal: Complete the system by installing the separately purchased 1" bulb seal 8.
