The Steele Rubber Products 90-3500-265 is a 2-1/16" C-Clip Side Wiper Seal — an EPDM rubber wiper weatherstrip found on many RV slide-outs and compartment doors that creates a dynamic seal keeping weather, moisture, debris, and pests out of the coach. The C-clip design sets this seal apart from adhesive-backed wipers: it clamps directly over the existing metal rail flange without any adhesive, making it an ideal direct replacement on rails where the original seal has worn out.
The profile features a ball tip wiper blade at the leading edge for improved wiping action and reliable wiper flip as the slide-out extends and retracts. The C-clip body grips flanges up to 1/8" thick for a secure, rattle-free installation. Overall width is 2-1/2", with 2-1/16" measured from the wiper edge to the C-clip. When used as a slide-out seal, this wiper may be combined with a companion bulb seal for additional weatherproofing when the slide-out is in the retracted position.

This C-clip wiper seal is designed to clip over flanges up to 1/8" thick. Before ordering, measure your existing rail flange thickness to confirm it falls within this range. Flanges thicker than 1/8" will require a different seal profile. Companion Bulb Seal: When used as a slide-out seal, this wiper may be combined with a companion bulb weatherstrip for additional sealing when the slide-out is retracted. The companion bulb seal is sold separately — confirm compatibility before purchasing.

What You Need: No adhesive required. Recommended tools: rubber mallet, small block of wood, tape measure, scissors or utility knife. Basic Installation Steps: 1. Remove Old Seal: Pull the existing wiper seal off the rail flange, working from one end to the other 2. Clean the Rail: Remove all old residue, dirt, and debris from the flange surface for a clean seating surface 3. Measure & Cut: Measure the run and cut the new seal to length with scissors or a utility knife 4. Clip onto Flange: Align the C-clip channel over the metal rail flange and press down firmly along the full length to seat the clip 5. Seat with Mallet: Use a rubber mallet and a small block of wood to ensure the C-clip is fully and evenly seated on the flange — do not use a metal hammer directly on the seal 6. Test the Slide: Extend and retract the slide-out to confirm the ball tip wiper flips correctly and the C-clip remains securely seated on the rail
