The temperature difference between the seal and the bonding surface should be as small as possible ā avoid applying in direct sunlight on a hot surface or in cold ambient conditions. Surface Preparation: Completely remove all old seal material and adhesive residue from the mounting surface. Wipe thoroughly with isopropyl alcohol or a general-purpose adhesive cleaner and allow to fully dry. The surface must be completely clean and dry before applying ā any residue or moisture will significantly reduce adhesion. Allow 72 hours for the adhesive to fully cure after application.
