The JR Products 06-30215 is a heavy duty stainless steel mesh screen that mounts over the vent opening on larger Suburban RV water heaters, keeping birds and rodents from nesting inside. A blocked water heater vent can interfere with proper combustion airflow, so keeping pests out helps the water heater run safely and as intended. The fine stainless steel mesh keeps pests out while allowing full airflow through the vent, and an installation tool is included to make the swap simple.
This screen is sized for the larger Suburban 10, 12, and 16 gallon water heater models. If your RV uses a Suburban 6 gallon water heater, or an Atwood water heater, JR Products offers separate screens sized for those applications. Measure your vent opening and confirm your water heater's brand and tank size before ordering.
