A full-size rake is one of those campsite essentials that most RVers skip because there's nowhere to store it. Camco solved that with the 42171 Compact RV Rake -- it opens to a genuine 60-inch working length with a wide 22-inch rake head, then folds down to a flat 30" x 8.5" package that slides into a cargo bay, pass-through, or basement compartment without fighting for space.
Full-time campers and weekend warriors alike know the frustration: a standard garden rake is too long to transport, and a kid-size rake barely moves leaves. The Camco 42171 hits the practical middle ground -- real rake performance when you need it, compact storage when you don't.
The folding handle locks securely in the open position so it works like a conventional rake during use. When camp is broken, fold it flat in seconds and tuck it away. No bungee cords on the ladder. No strapping it to the roof. No leaving it behind because it wouldn't fit.
22-inch wide tine spread clears leaves, pine needles, gravel, and debris efficiently -- comparable to a standard yard rake.
Extends to a full 60 inches for comfortable upright raking without stooping. Works for most adult heights.
Folds to just 30" x 8.5" -- fits in most RV storage compartments, cargo bays, and truck beds with ease.
Designed specifically for the RV lifestyle -- durable enough for real outdoor use, packable enough to take anywhere.
The 42171 handles the everyday campsite chores that keep your site clean and your slide-outs clear:
The handle folds at a mid-point joint that locks into the fully extended position during use. The locking mechanism keeps the handle rigid so there's no flex or wobble while raking. Folding is a simple two-step process -- release the lock, fold, done. No tools required.
