The Lippert 2023134662 / PP-DC-5 dust cap kit is designed for compatible 5,200 to 6,000-lb trailer axle hubs with a 2.45" hub bore. The press-in dust caps help protect the bearings, grease, and inner hub components from dust, dirt, and road debris.
This Super Lube cap kit includes removable rubber plugs, allowing access to the grease fitting on compatible Super Lube-style spindles without removing the entire dust cap.

Dust caps should be matched by hub bore diameter, cap diameter, cap style, and hub application. Axle capacity alone is not enough to confirm fit. This is the Super Lube cap style with rubber plugs. If your hub uses a standard non-lubed cap without a rubber plug, use the matching non-lubed dust cap instead.
Lippert 2023134662 is a standard press-in dust cap kit with rubber plugs for compatible 5,200 to 6,000-lb Super Lube hubs with a 2.45" hub bore. It supersedes Lippert SKUs 693749 and 122064 and is compatible with Dexter part number 021-042-01.

Remove Old Cap: Carefully remove the existing dust cap without damaging the hub bore. 3. Install New Cap: Drive the replacement dust cap in squarely using the proper tool so the cap seats evenly in the hub. 5. Install Rubber Plug: Seat the rubber plug fully in the dust cap opening after grease service is complete.
