The Thetford 49998 is the replacement discharge nozzle and clamp for the Thetford Sani-Con Turbo macerator waste evacuation system — the fitting at the end of the 1-1/2" discharge hose that inserts into the dump station inlet to transfer macerated waste from the RV tanks. Previously known as Thetford part number 97520, this is the same direct-fit OEM replacement under an updated part number.
The Sani-Con discharge nozzle is a multi-size adapter designed to fit six different dump station inlet configurations commonly encountered at campgrounds and dump stations, including a garden hose thread connection for remote or elevated dumping via a garden hose extension. When the nozzle becomes cracked, damaged, or lost, the 49998 restores the full functionality of the Sani-Con system. The worm-drive clamp secures the nozzle to the discharge hose end.

The Sani-Con Turbo discharge nozzle is the last step in the dumping process: 1. Remove the nozzle cap from storage 2. Select the correct adapter size for the dump station inlet and insert the nozzle 3. Activate the Sani-Con pump via the switch box — macerated waste flows through the 1-1/2" hose and out the nozzle into the dump station 4. When the tank is empty, shut off the pump, remove the nozzle, replace the nozzle cap, and return the hose and nozzle to the storage compartment For remote/uphill dumping: connect a garden hose to the garden hose thread adapter on the nozzle, run the garden hose to the dump point, and pump as normal.
The 49998 is designed for the Thetford Sani-Con Turbo 500S, 600S, and 700 macerator systems which use a 1-1/2" discharge hose. It is not compatible with the older Sani-Con Evac system or other macerator brands that use different hose diameters or nozzle attachment methods.
