How to Choose the Right RainBlade for Your RV Window

1. Measure your window width
Measure from the outer edge of one side of the window frame to the outer edge of the other. Your measurement must fall within the product’s size range. For example, a 15" wide window requires the RV1016, which fits 12" to 17" wide windows.

2. Check for nearby obstructions
Inspect the area around your window for anything that could interfere with installation—such as slide-outs, door frames, vents, lights, or handles. The smaller your window is within the fitment range, the more the RainBlade will extend past the frame.

3. Know the product width is fixed
RainBlade models are not adjustable. If your window is 12" wide and you use the RV1016 (12–17" fitment), the deflector will extend about 2.5" past each side of the window frame. Use the measurement diagram to confirm it will fit your space.

4. Leave at least 1" of clearance above the window
Ensure there is at least 1 inch of open space above the window frame to avoid any interference during installation.

5. Use the diagram to verify total length
Check the product’s total length in the diagram, divide it in half, and measure that distance outward from the center of your window. This ensures there’s enough space for the deflector to mount without hitting any obstacles.
