The SP54-254 clamps to your travel trailer's A-frame tongue. Before ordering, confirm the following: 1. A-frame tongue must be accessible: The clamp needs exposed A-frame tubing to grip. Fully enclosed or covered tongues may not provide an adequate clamping surface. 2. Sufficient A-frame space: There must be enough clear, unobstructed A-frame length to position the EzStor Hitch alongside existing components such as the coupler, jack, and breakaway cable. 3. Remove before towing: The EzStor Hitch is a parking-position storage solution. It must be removed or cleared of hitch components before hitching up and towing. Ideal for those who prefer a fully tool-free, no-contact setup with maximum portability. Both store your weight distribution bars and hitch head off the ground in an organized, dedicated spot. Choose based on whether you want a fixed or fully removable solution.
Installation Steps: 1. Select A-Frame Location: Choose an accessible position on the trailer A-frame with enough clear space for the unit alongside the coupler, tongue jack, and other components 2. Position the EzStor Hitch: Place the clamp assembly over the A-frame tubing at the desired location 3. Secure the Clamp: Tighten the clamp hardware to lock the EzStor Hitch firmly to the A-frame per the included installation instructions 4. Load Hitch Components: Place the hitch head and weight distribution tow bars into their designated positions within the storage system 5.
