Stop swapping ball mounts every time you switch trailers. The B&W Hitches TS10038B gives you two pre-mounted hitch balls on a single heavy-duty shank, so you can flip to the right ball size in seconds. Built to Class IV standards and engineered to the same tight tolerances B&W is known for in their Turnoverball and 5th wheel product lines, this mount handles serious towing loads without the slop or rattle common in budget ball mounts.
The TS10038B is designed for RV owners, truck owners, and trailer operators who regularly switch between different trailer types -- a smaller utility trailer one weekend and a heavier travel trailer the next. Rather than carrying multiple ball mounts or swapping hardware at the trailhead, this mount keeps both balls ready on the same shank. The 7/8" rise and 2" drop configuration is engineered to level a wide range of trailers when paired with typical half-ton and three-quarter-ton tow vehicles.
B&W manufactures this mount in the USA from solid steel with a black powder coat finish that resists rust and road grime. The shank fits any standard 2-inch Class III or Class IV receiver hitch, making it broadly compatible across trucks, SUVs, and full-size vans.
Two hitch balls pre-installed on the mount -- flip or reposition to match your trailer's coupler size without carrying extra hardware.
Rated for up to 10,000 lbs Gross Trailer Weight (GTW) and 1,000 lbs tongue weight -- suitable for travel trailers, boat trailers, and heavy cargo haulers.
Dual-position shank provides a 7/8" rise on one side and a 2" drop on the other to help level trailers behind varying tow vehicle heights.
Solid steel with black powder coat finish -- B&W's standard for durability on products used in demanding towing applications.
The TS10038B slides into any standard 2-inch square receiver hitch opening rated Class III or Class IV. This includes virtually every half-ton, three-quarter-ton, and one-ton pickup truck, as well as full-size SUVs and vans equipped with a 2-inch receiver. It is NOT compatible with 1-1/4-inch or 2-1/2-inch receivers.
The 7/8" rise and 2" drop refer to the two usable positions of the shank. When you insert the mount in the standard (ball-down) orientation, you get a 2" drop -- meaning the ball sits 2 inches lower than the receiver tube centerline. Flip the shank 180 degrees and you get a 7/8" rise -- the ball sits nearly 1 inch above receiver centerline. Most RV towers will want to measure their trailer coupler height vs. receiver height before selecting which orientation to use. A level trailer tongue is the target.
The TS10038B is part of B&W's Tow and Stow series of adjustable and fixed ball mounts. B&W is best known among RV and heavy towing enthusiasts for their Turnoverball gooseneck hitch systems and their Companion 5th wheel hitches. Their ball mounts carry the same machining and material standards as those flagship products. The "TS" prefix in the part number denotes the Tow and Stow product family. This specific unit (TS10038B) is the fixed-shank dual ball version; B&W also offers adjustable-drop versions for applications where multiple tow vehicles share one mount.
