Give your rig a fresh start with Lippert's factory-spec replacement awning fabric. Built from 13.5-oz vinyl, cold-crack tested to -25F, and finished with heat-welded seams, this White Fade fabric fits 16 ft Solera, Dometic, and Carefree awning assemblies -- and is backed by a limited 5-year manufacturer warranty. Made to order, so measure before you buy.
The Lippert V000334397 is engineered as a direct replacement for the fabric panel on 16 ft Solera awning assemblies. It also crosses over to Dometic and Carefree awning hardware of the same size, making it one of the more versatile replacement fabrics on the market. The White Fade colorway features a White Fade exterior with a solid white underside, keeping interior temperatures cooler and providing a clean, classic look at the campsite.
At 13.5 oz per square yard, this is heavy-duty vinyl -- noticeably thicker and more tear-resistant than economy replacement fabrics. The heat-welded seams eliminate stitched seam failures that can allow water infiltration over time. An included poly cord runs along the drop edge, giving you the option to add a light track and LED rope lights later (sold separately).
Vinyl remains flexible and crack-resistant in sub-zero temps -- critical for shoulder-season campers and full-timers in northern climates.
Seams are thermally fused, not stitched, reinforcing the fabric at the highest-stress points and preventing leak paths along the seam lines.
An integrated poly cord along the valance edge supports an optional light track for LED rope lights -- a popular upgrade for evening outdoor living.
Sized and configured to fit Solera, Dometic, and Carefree 16 ft awning assemblies -- broad compatibility reduces the risk of ordering the wrong fabric.
This is one of the most common points of confusion when ordering replacement awning fabric. The fabric width of 15'1" is the actual measurement of the vinyl panel itself. It is approximately 11 inches shorter than the nominal awning assembly width of 16 ft. This is standard and correct -- the fabric is designed to seat inside the roller tube and hardware brackets, so it is always shorter than the labeled awning size. Do not order a 16 ft fabric expecting the panel to measure 16 ft edge to edge.
The 8 ft projection is the distance the fabric extends outward from your RV wall when the awning is fully deployed. This is a generous full-shade footprint suitable for most Class A, Class C, and fifth-wheel slideout patio setups. Verify your existing awning arm length supports an 8 ft projection before ordering.
This fabric is manufactured by Lippert to fit the Solera awning system but is also confirmed compatible with:
The roller tube diameter, end cap style, and fabric attachment system on these brands are standardized at the 16 ft size, which is why a single fabric fits all three. If your awning is a different brand or a different nominal size, measure the actual fabric panel before assuming compatibility.
