Replace worn, faded, or torn awning fabric without swapping the entire assembly. This Lippert Solera 13.5-oz vinyl fabric is cut for a 21-foot awning opening, delivers an 8-foot projection, and carries a Silver Fade colorway with a clean white underside. It crosses into Dometic and Carefree awning systems, making it one of the most versatile drop-in replacements on the market.
Awning fabric takes a beating -- UV radiation, wind load, rain, road grime, and temperature swings from desert heat to mountain cold. Lippert built this fabric to handle all of it. At 13.5 oz per square yard, the vinyl substrate is substantially heavier than budget replacement fabrics, and every seam is heat-welded rather than sewn, eliminating the stitching holes that invite leaks over time.
The Silver Fade pattern transitions from a deeper silver-gray tone to a lighter shade, reducing solar heat gain compared to solid dark colors while maintaining a clean, modern look against most RV sidewall colors. The white underside reflects light back down into your patio space for a brighter, cooler feel on hot days.
Heavier-than-standard fabric weight resists tearing, sagging, and UV degradation through multiple seasons of full-time or heavy recreational use.
Seams are thermally fused rather than sewn, reinforcing high-stress points and eliminating needle holes that allow water infiltration.
Vinyl remains flexible and crack-resistant down to -25 degrees F, so you can retract and deploy the awning safely in cold-weather camping conditions.
Includes an integrated poly cord along the hem for optional LED rope or strip lighting -- no additional hardware required on the fabric side.
This fabric is engineered to fit Lippert Solera awnings and is also compatible with Dometic and Carefree awning assemblies of the same size. If you are replacing fabric on a 21-foot awning from any of these three brands, this fabric is a direct candidate -- verify your roller tube diameter and end cap style before ordering.
The fabric width of 20'1" is approximately 11 inches shorter than your awning assembly's nominal 21-foot width. This is standard and intentional -- the fabric must fit inside the roller tube and end caps. Always measure your existing fabric or roller tube, not your RV's sidewall, when selecting a replacement size.
Replacement awning fabric is manufactured to your specified size and color. It cannot be returned or exchanged once produced. Measure your existing fabric from end cap to end cap along the roller tube before placing your order. When in doubt, contact our team with your awning brand, model number, and roller tube length for confirmation.
