Keep your RV shore power cable scratch-free and moving smoothly every time you deploy or retract it. The Glendinning 04069-1 Undercoach Roller Assembly mounts beneath your coach and guides the power cable through six individual plastic rollers, eliminating direct contact with rough bay edges, fasteners, and frame members that cause premature cable wear and jacket damage.
Power cables on motorhomes and coaches take a beating every time they pass over or under a storage bay edge. Without a guide roller, the cable jacket scrapes against metal or composite surfaces on each extension and retraction cycle. Over time this abrasion cuts through insulation and creates a real shock hazard. The Glendinning 04069-1 solves that with a compact six-roller cradle that keeps the cable lifted and rolling freely.
The assembly bolts directly to the underside of the coach floor or storage bay using six self-tapping 1-inch screws -- no welding, no drilling large holes, no special tools beyond a drill and a screw bit. When floor-mounted, the design also allows your storage bay door to remain fully closed while the power cable is still extended outside the rig, a feature full-timers and frequent travelers especially appreciate.
Six individual plastic rollers cradle the cable from multiple contact points, distributing load and eliminating point abrasion on the cable jacket.
Includes six 1-inch self-tapping screws. Bolts directly to composite or wood coach floor -- no backing plate or welding required.
When floor-mounted, allows the storage bay door to close fully even while the power cable is routed outside the coach and connected to shore power.
Designed and assembled in the USA. Backed by Glendinning's limited 1-year manufacturer warranty.
Glendinning is the leading name in motorhome cable reel systems. The 04069-1 is a genuine OEM-compatible replacement and upgrade part sourced directly from Glendinning's cable management product line -- the same engineering behind their widely used Power-Cord Reel systems found on Class A and Class C motorhomes.
This roller assembly can be mounted in two ways. Mounting through the floor of the storage bay allows the bay door to close over the routed cable -- ideal for permanent installations where the cable reel is inside the bay. Mounting directly to the underside (belly) of the coach positions the rollers at the exit point of the cable as it feeds downward from a reel above. Choose the location that aligns with your existing cable reel exit path.
The inner diameter of this roller assembly is 4.5 inches and the outer diameter is 6 inches. Confirm that your power cable outer diameter passes freely through a 4.5-inch inner opening before ordering. Most standard 30-amp and 50-amp RV shore power cables are well within this range, but check if you use an oversized cord grip or connector boot.
