Remco R880SS RollMax -- Maximum-Volume 8-Roller PTO Sprayer Pump
The R880SS is Remco's high-output stainless steel roller pump engineered for demanding PTO-driven spray applications. With 8 stainless steel rollers and 24.5 GPM capacity at 150 PSI, it handles the corrosive chemistry of fertilizers, herbicides, and liquid amendments that destroy lesser pumps. Counter-clockwise shaft rotation matches standard PTO and gas engine setups where CCW is required.
Roller pumps are the workhorse choice for field sprayers because they self-prime, handle moderate solids in suspension, and deliver smooth, pulse-reduced flow compared to diaphragm pumps at comparable volumes. The R880SS takes that reliability up a level with a full stainless steel construction that resists the corrosive attack of ammonia-based fertilizers, glyphosate mixes, and other aggressive agrochemicals.
The 8-roller design increases displacement per revolution and extends seal life by distributing wear across more contact surfaces -- translating to higher sustained output and longer service intervals than 4- or 6-roller alternatives in continuous-duty field use.

The R880SS uses a 15/16" keyed shaft, the standard diameter for agricultural PTO adapters and many gas-engine-drive pump mounts. This shaft size accepts common hub and coupler kits used on 540 RPM PTO applications and small tractor accessories. Always confirm your drive coupler matches the 15/16" bore and key dimensions before installation.
The 15/16" shaft and CCW rotation make the R880SS compatible with a broad range of tractor PTO sprayer setups, as well as gas engine drives configured for counter-clockwise output. No shaft modification is required for standard PTO adapter coupler kits.
Both inlet and outlet ports are 1" Female NPT (FNPT), the industry-standard thread for agricultural and industrial sprayer plumbing. This allows direct connection to 1" NPT hose barbs, ball valves, strainers, and pressure regulators without reducing fittings in most setups. Stainless steel port threads resist galling and corrosion common with aggressive chemical exposure.
